We recommend bringing: biodegradable sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, swimsuit, towel, light clothing, water shoes, camera (preferably waterproof), cash for island purchases and the entrance tax to Guna territory.
You can arrive by your own vehicle (approximately 2.5 hours) or hire our transportation service. We depart from Panama City at 5:30 AM to arrive on time at the port. The transportation cost is $60 per person round trip.
Yes, San Blas is a safe destination. The comarca is administered by the Guna people, who maintain their traditions and take care of their visitors. Our captains are experienced and know the area perfectly. All our boats have safety and communication equipment.
Mobile coverage is limited in San Blas. On some main islands there may be signal, but in most of the archipelago there is no coverage. Our boats don't have WiFi. We recommend enjoying the digital disconnection as part of the experience.
